Red is Red

Projekt “Red is Red” powstawał na przestrzeni kilku lat. Zdjęcia wykonywane były w Polsce, Indiach, Meksyku, Chinach i na Filipinach. Składa się on ze zdjęć poukładanych w pary, gdzie oprócz motywu przewodniego jakim jest kolor czerwony, zdjęcia nawiązują do siebie pod względem kompozycji, faktur, kolorów oraz nastroju.
Projekt ma na celu zwrócenie uwagi na kolor czerwony, który sam w sobie nie jest ani dobry ani zły. Dopiero kiedy człowiek nada mu znaczenie, czerwony może być rozpatrywany w kontekście wartości.
Jest to kolor, który towarzyszy nam niemal w każdej dziedzinie życia. Czerwony to miłość, namiętność, dynamika ale też ostrzeżenie, żądza, krew czy skrajne emocje.

The “Red is Red” project was created in the course of 3 years. Picture were taken in Poland, India, Mexico and the Philippines. It consists of 20 photos arranged in pairs, where, apart from the red theme, the pictures refer to each other in terms of composition, texture, color and mood.
The aim of the project is to draw attention to the red color, which is neither good nor bad in itself. Only when a men gives him a meaning, the red color can be considered in the context of value.
The red assists us in almost every aspects of our life. Red is love, redis passion, red is dynamic but also a warning, lust, blood or extreme emotions.
